Welcome! I’m Katie, a seasoned UX designer with over a decade of experience. My career began at a small design agency where I worked primarily on branding and as my career progressed, I pivoted into UX and worked for small and large companies, both in-house and corporate.

Over the years, I’ve mentored transitioning and experienced UX designers while working on various projects, such as creating pitch decks for startups in Silicon Valley, building app experiences for Papa John’s, and enhancing browse experiences for The Home Depot. I’ve had to typeset by hand; I know what picas are, and I still prefer pen and paper to sketch ideas. In this digital world, I’m still a bit old school; I’m a stickler for good typography, and bad kerning keeps me up at night.
